Val has been an influential advisor and member of the banking community for many years. He is known for his expertise and comprehension of DeNovo bank organization and bank operations. Val began his career at Commercial Security Bank after he graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting. Over the course of his career he has cultivated important banking relationships and skills as he has worked at Citizens Bank, Utah DFI, Wasatch Bank, Logan Savings, Utah Federal Savings, and even Centennial Bank, a bank he helped develop and organize. Before coming to Prime Alliance Bank, Val worked for and organized America West Bank, where he was their Chief Financial Officer. Val was a fundamental member in the creating and developing of Prime Alliance Bank and continues to manage many important aspects of the bank's functions and operations. In addition to his work experience Val holds a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in BAI Bank Controllership. If you recognize Val outside of the bank, it may because of his active role in his community. Val has been a participant in city government, the Rotary Club, and other local boards. Around the bank, Val is known as our world traveler, visiting countries from Denmark to Panama. In his spare time, he enjoys riding ATV's with his family, sports, Spanish, and music.
